Ep. 16 - Jeff and Henry Jones

What happens when two father and son duos participate on a podcast?

Two generations of thought, perspective, and ideas.

SHOW NOTES

In this episode, Preston and Henry talk to another father-son duo, Jeff and Henry Jones. They discuss how Gen Z views the American Dream, if it’s still obtainable, and how everyone, especially Gen Z, can be reminded they are capable of great things.

Jeff Jones started his career in sales, while simultaneously starting a real estate business in the Chicagoland area, buying up foreclosures. That path led him to bigger and bigger properties, where he entered the commercial industry, owning properties from gun ranges to storage units and everything in between. Now semi-retired, he manages his portfolio and helps his son Henry, with his own real estate career.

Henry Jones, a lifelong friend of Henry True, graduated from Illinois State University with a Degree in Finance. Influenced by his dad’s career, he got a job as a commercial real estate broker. Realizing that position wasn’t meant for him, and knowing what his own American Dream is, he now works as a Transaction Coordinator and a real estate firm in Chicago.

IN THIS EPISODE WE COVER:

  • Is Gen Z at an unfair disadvantage? How does Gen Z view the American Dream?

  • Is the American Dream is still attainable in 2026?

  • How everyone, especially Gen Z, can be reminded they’re capable of great things
